Things are not going my way

Q: I'm losing my trust in God so much...I've been looking for a career advancement job (for over two years) and everytime I think I have a lead 😔 it doesn't work out. I have nothing in me left. I'm frustrated and tired of trusting God.

A: Are you living for yourself, or God?
That's the big question.

God controls all things. We are to trust him because he is trustworthy. He has our and others best in mind and will work all things out; for His plans.  Knowing that is from Scripture how then can we lose trust in Him?

Maybe your wording was off so i dont want to assume your intention was to "throw God away" cuz he wasnt the genie you desire/demand. God is our Creator and we exist for His purposes and pleasure. He is over us, not us over Him. Jesus is on the Throne of our life if he is our Savior, but even over the unsaved He is soverign.

With that said, he will take care of the needs of those who are His [and live in righteousness].

There are things he is working out, even if it means he is pruning you for your growth or even if the goal is a total career change, we are to go where he moves us. Our job is also our mission field. But so too is a homemaker/mom. We need to say Your will be done and Send Me. To  submit, obey and serve. 🙂

There's a false gospel spreading rampantly today and so we need to ensure we embraced "the real one", but also read and know Scripture well [to grow], and stay in it daily [to stay close to God, and sensitive to his guiding]. Read this free pdf book.

You likely need to grow in contentment and trusting that God is working in and through our lives for a good purpose, and submitting to His Will. We cannot live sinfully in bitterness and ungratitude and in discontentment. He works out all things, in His timing. Be prepared to go and do what He has planned, and wait patiently on Him. Be in the Scriptures daily and follow Him. 🙂. Living that way brings blessing.

Also, we are in a Fallen world, we will have suffering in this life, [tbh more than unsaved sinners], and we just need to be faithful. And do rejoice that our best life is in eternity, not in this sin stained temporary earth.

I hope this helps. 🫂✝️
