Sufferings, Tribulations & Preseverance - Eyes on Jesus

Life tribulations, suffering & circumstances are common to all men in this Fallen world,  but those in the Lord Perseverance in the Faith regardless of what is going on in their life and around them. Our eyes are to be/ our focus is to be on Jesus... not on ourselves.

We redeemed have peace in Christ now and a gloriously blessed eternal life ahead. Nothing will shake our faith. Troubles we encounter here just keep us closer to God. Our focus isnt based on temporary troubles, but on God who is sovereign and all powerful. Jesus is our Lord and is on the throne of our life. He will lead us through all. We trust Him. 
 
Romans 5:3-4: "And not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope

Romans 12:12: " rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,"

Galatians 6:9: "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, be strong in the Lord with His mighty power."

Hebrews 10:36: "For you need endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise." 

James 1:2-4: "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." 

Matthew 10:22: "And you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved." 

 Romans 8:25: "But if we hope for what we do not see, we persevere with patience for it." 

1 Corinthians 15:58: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 

 2 Corinthians 4:16-18: "Therefore we do not lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary affliction are producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal." 

 2 Thessalonians 1:4: "We ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations which you are enduring." 

1 Timothy 4:7: "But have nothing to do with worldly fables [babbled by] old women. Exercise yourself toward godliness. " 

 2 Timothy 2:3-4: "Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since he wants to please the one who enlisted him."

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test

Hebrews 12:1-2: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." 

Philippians 3:14: "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." 

James 1:12: "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
