Is having doubts wrong? Is asking Qs wrong?*

No. Christianity is a evidence based faith and we trust based on that truth of it.

To know truth we need to know Scripture. Since it takes a long time to know Scripture, how else will we know unless we ask sbout it. Or at the very least "accelerate" our learning by gaining more clarity on a matter by asking questions.

Also, "Doubts drive us to find answers". While these may not always be true doubts, they signal a desire for clarity which once achieved strengthens and solidifies your faith, (making it unshakeable). You know Christianity is true; even if you struggle to articulate it, but by exploring areas more deeply it will reinforce your convictions.

Questions are good, it helps you learn and firm up areas you were weak in or needed to understand better. Always ask questions, if you dont you cant learn, grow and mature in the Faith. If you hold back your questions or feel dumb, it might be pride, and that seeks to stunt your growth. So, humbly just ask. 🙂

Remember also, you'll find a variety of people in the Church, in your church you'll easily see this. Someone whose 80 who is newly saved, & doesnt know anything. A 60 or old who grew up in church then left as a teen, only to come to true faith (who is now back at church) knows with a child's understanding, and has to start learning from the true adult understanding. You've got a 20 year old, raised in the church, who got saved at 12 who are maturing a bit in the Faith, who will likely be further along than you (at 30) who has only been saved for 2 years and had came out of a cult [is having to unlearn all the lies you were previously taught, in addition to biblical truth]. Next to you is another 30 year old who got saved 2 yrs ago, who had athiest upbringing and is a clean slate to understand, grasp and grow much easier [without cult baggage to untangle]. Everyone is at a diff growth & maturity rate. That is a must to understand. We are all on the Faith journey growing into maturity, and it will be different for everyone.

The whole reason we learn and grow is that while studying Scripture (at home and church) we have group time to be discipled where we can ask questions. I went to a 14 week Fundamentals of the Faith discipleship class. Because it was home fellowship based not classroom based, it ended up a 2 year study 😂, cuz everyone asked questions and we went diwn rabbit holes. But thats fine. The participants there learned so much (both the one asking and the listeners). They studied their lesson at home, came prepared for the class, and then when it veered off it was fine cuz the lesson was still completed as we went along. Pick up where left off.

Sunday School is a bit different since it follows a 365 plan. But you still study the lesson the week prior and show up ready to learn. You can drop questions off to your teacher by email after class to get some clarity on the lesson, related, or spmething youre needing guidance about thats a diff question.

Certian classes will follow a focused 1:1 style lesson, others will be flexible and casual. It depends on how the teacher sees the class and how open they are to continuing it beyond the planned 10 lessons or so. You can ask the teacher the style, how open they are to off topic or one off questions, or if more focused to the lesson, if you can email qs you have for them to reply back about as they have time.

Def ask questions. Sometimes rereading a passage or reviewing the lesson again prior to class will help answer some questions, or your daily time in Scripture reveals thr answer during the week, other times you need to reach out to your shepherd leaders to find out.

It is important to get your questions answered within your Bible focused church so they keep you within the bounds of biblical orthodoxy. What I mean is, dont ask folk outside your church, like some tom dick or harry online, because it is a place swarming with demonic deception & confusion. Theres loads of false churches, cults, and false religions out there masquradjng as Christisn, who will subtly lead you astray and push false teachings in what they post or comment. Even irl from "professing" believers in your neighborhood or at your job. So only ask questions and listen to anything Christian related, at your local church. Those folk have been discipled in the Faith from within biblical truth, so it prevents you from the prevalent deception of outsiders. Sticking to that provides solid protection and security measures. Even after you are long matured in the Faith, as it helps with discernment and not deviating from the truth.

One thing to note is those in Christianity, [which today might be referred to as Protestant or Evangelical], hold to essential truths that unite us together in the Faith. Outside that are secondary matters. Things we learn from Scripture which we might differ on, that are not salvation matters, so we can still fellowship and might have basically same views and answers on theological or doctrinal matters. But where we differ slightly we can each still each grow to understand better the more biblically accurate view of the matter. All this to say, within Christianity [true Christianity] there are generally reputable reliable resources to help us understand Scripture and get our questions answered.

That is very diff from the false churches, cults, false religions claiming to be Christian and pushing deception through its organization or its members.

Below are some safe reputable places you can "get helps" to help you grow in the knowledge of Scripture, to help your faith and maturity "outside your church" as it will biblically align with biblical truths.

God bless
