Guiding a former Catholic looking to return to Faith

Q: Beginning my journey into Christianity (leaning towards Catholicism) after straying from my faith path.

One of the reasons I left was a resentment towards the religion because I felt it was misogynistic. I confused cultural norms at the time not looking to Scripture & it coming from God himself. I felt that all the mysoginistic things I had read into in 1 Timothy 2:12-13  meant God felt we were less than and inferior in all ways- this made me feel like it was impossible to love him if he felt so little about me.

One thing that will help me rekindle my relationship is learning the value in women, that we arent less than, and that he does in fact love us. We arent inferior and that we have a purpose. If I can learn this, I know the rest will follow for me easier because this was one of the top things for me.

A: The world decieves and distorts the truth, taught that in culture and in todays atheistic anti-God public school systems & perpetuated more by everything in entertainment, news etc (which is running by the Satanic system), so it is no wonder folk hold to darkness, and the false things in their hearts as well (cuz they love sin & want to blame God), they cant see truth cuz they're spiritually blind.

If *not* looking at cultures distorted view, holding a false form of moralism or varied things in Scripture within the lense of empty religions, *but through* spiritual eyes that see, to understand (rightly) [which happens through the power of the Gospel]... then God will lead us on the righteous path, having transformed us inside. We then can see, know and hold to truth.

God seems to be moving you towards salvation.  Having a solid understanding of the Essentials taught in Scripture is vital to obeying the Gospel, (as it helps you identify & avoid false religions [including ones that masquerade as Christian]). Embrace & obeyed ot when you clearly understand it. 🙂

If truly right with God, you're saved. Thus having been born again by God [which Jesus said is required]...you'll begin living a transformed life.

But in order to be saved, you have to have a true understanding of who Jesus *really* is, & having the biblical historically true Jesus, not the altered, distorted, false one taught by false religions [including those ones masquerading as Christian, like Catholicism]. Those ones are idolatrous; since they do not present the real Jesus. Therefore folk cannot follow the real one, and can't obey the Gospel, cuz they've embraced a false gospel with a false jesus and have a false god. That's why it is vital to understand the truth, which is clearly shown in the Scriptures. That's what the Reformers fought and died for; your ability to have, read and know the Scriptures, to see truth.

In it you will see God is all powerful, that Jesus is fully able, fully capable, to fully save by His sacrificial work alone, and no helps nor striving to "assist him" for your salvation are needed nor accepted. God doesnt take bribes, he requires perfection. Jesus sacrifice is enough, and only through that real Jesus can one be saved. You will not find the real God, real Jesus, real Gospel nor real Salvation in Catholicism. If you cannot accept this fact, 🤷‍♀️ theres no point in even coming to any church, because there is no other way to be saved, right with God, and enter Heaven.

If you embraced the truth, then praise God.

Here's a helpful reputable church directory, to help you find a Bible focused church that preaches the truth from it. You can talk to the pastor there, and get discipled to understand these things shared here better.

Dpnt get mixed up with all the religious side tracked stuff like you did with women topics and misunderstandings, perpetuated by deceiver, focus on the Essentials. That's the key to truth, the Gospel & Salvation. By it you can spot false teachings and beliefs...as it (clearly exposes itself) shows it doesnt align with Scripture 😉.

Ask God to reveal the truth to you, no matter where it ends up at. Have a soft, open humble heart...that 😊 allows God to show you the truth. ✝️✨️

God bless
