Need a church in Sweden
A: Is it wrong not to go to church?
For context: we live in Sweden and the Swedish church is... well, they join Pride parades, don't do baptism if you were baptised as a child (which for many it doesn't count because they weren't Christians as children), instead of talking about how to become better Christians they talk only about love and acceptance and about some famous person who is a "he/she". Sundays become too political too often.
We've tried 3 different churches, but they are all part of the Swedish church, we don't have any church nearby that is not part of the Swedish church😫
My husband and I never felt like we learnt anything after going to church, we felt empty, like we wasted a time that was supposed to be spent with and learning about God.
We read the Bible at home, but is it wrong not to go to church?
A:Yes it is wrong not to go to church. This explains in depth.
Yes your husband should daily lead the family spiritually in a daily family Bible hour, and Sunday is for corporate gathering at local church. Both are what should be done. Online sermons are just extra, and not to take the place of you physically being in Church.
I guarantee there are real Christian churches there. They might be small home church or an established church. God will guide you.
Reach out to someplace like gty.org, tmu.edu, gracechurch.org for guidance [even if a contact to help you keep getting referrals]. Church Missionaries start churches everywhere too, not just seminary graduate pastors.
I found this conservative evangelical church in Sweden. If its not near you, they can refer you to one. ✅️⭐️
God bless
