Can't stop crying over Charlie's murder
Q: Not trying to be political, but I keep crying over Charlie Kirk. I have never cried so much over someone who died. I know alot of vocal people hated him. A lot more appreciated him & his efforts towards our youth.
But, I cant get past the reason he got assassinated & mayrtered. I cant get passed thinking about his wife Erika and their 2 babies that will never have any more memories of their dad or experience anything with him, all because someone didnt like what he said. I dont understand my strong emotions over someone I barely knew.
A: Its likely because you value human life, want folk to know truth (both spiritually, and in reality of topics he touched on in its relation to America, education and morality). And that youre horrified and rightly outraged over evil people murdering others, for any reason.
We're in a Fallen world. And since he was Christian, proclaimed it and the Gospel, spoke truth in morality and related (which for some became a political view 🙃 somehow), and our Christian foundations & society... its not wonder those blinded by Satan (and in their sins) behave how they did and do.
Its nothing new. It's actually expected; they killed Jesus and will treat his followers the same. We have these truths shown in Scripture. Those in USA have been to comfortable for too long thinking Christianity is about a happy good life. It's not. Its a persecuted life, and somethings wrong if were not being persecuted. Somethings wrong if professing believers arent comprehending this, & that this is a world of sin and suffering. I do pray this situation is a wake up call for lukewarm, (and false converts to get right), to tighten up, and live right for Christ.
How many who didn't know him personally cried like this over their sins and Jesus death in our place? Did you lament that deeply and have true grief? It shouldve been much more than what you did over Charlie. Jesus death was way more important, as your Savior. His entire life was lived to be in our place, and death as well. Not just a death, bit one that took on the eternal wrath of God, for every single believer who ever will have existed.
Hope this lights a truth fire to folk, to get folk thinking and having mind focused the right way, moving forward.
