Can we find truth through other Faiths
Q: I profess love towards God but I am looking to learn of a different faith. I am also trying to find which Church that I belong to after I decide which one. I don't anyone to tell me which Church to go to, because I want God to guide me to what Church he want me of.
I have friends of different religious faiths, and I love all of my friends the same. At the moment I am looking at Mormonism, and seeking some of them folk to educate me on their religion.
I do understand how some people feel about different religions like Mormonism, and don't like engaging with or talking to folk who speak negative of other faiths, I want to embrace those who claim to be Christian just as I want others of faith to with me.
A: This is a Christian place, we speak truth here and wont lie to you.
The important thing you need to do is examine what God has told us and revealed to us in Scripture [* The 66 books of the Bible]. That begins your journey as it explains the Essentials of Christianity and the Gospel of Christ. Any church or denomination that doesnt deviate from those truths, nor adds to it, nor redefines Christian words, will be an appropriate and true place to go to.
These seperate false religions from the truth God has revealed to us, in which he calls us to trust, believe & follow.

I will note tho you are in error about Faiths. God has actually warned us in Scripture about wolves in sheep clothing, false prophets and preachers of false Gospel and false religions. He did that out of love to guide us away from them so we dont embrace them (unequally yoked wuth light and darkness), and we are told not to befriend them nor join them. Yet, we can treat them as fellow image bearers of God (humans) & properly show them God's love through us [who are redeemed by Christ], and with that love, kindness, patience, share and show the truth, Gospel, and shine Christ through us, while also pointing them to the true God & Faith. We are commissioned to do so.
We are to (in keeping with Fruit of the Spirit, Christlikeness & God's attributes) treat people as God would, since all unsaved folk (incl. those in false religions) are blinded by Satan and their sin, and all those actually born again by God in Christ [the Saints] should recieve our love too (but in a more brotherly way, since Christ is in them). God calls us to love Him and others, and because of God transforming us at salvation, we can and do live that out.
In order to understand all of this this rightly, we need to know the Bible very well. That is our starting point. Not looking at other religions or (so called) other Christian faiths, because those folk in them use subtle doctrines of demons to decieve people into their false religion.
How can you spot the counterfiet without first knowing the true one? Just like those who work in the govt currency dept are trained on the true one before they are sent out. Once out they can easily spot the fake ones. Thus, we believers need to read, study and know the True Word of God (Bible), so we can spot the errors and counterfiet religions out there, (incl. the ones that claim to be Christian)... which helps us avoid them and stay within what's biblically orthodox.
God will guide you to the true Faith and church if you focus first on the contents of the Bible. [And especially the historically preserved and true one...not the edited ones like ones created by cults].
If you know the Bible well, then you cant be decieved by the twisted, false teachings of other Faiths, who take things out of context (& make up additional things, adding a false authority and reverance to them). The Bible is that important, and God wants you to know it's contents to protect you from decievers, to lead you into truth, and for it to guide you into holy living.
So take all that to heart and consideration, if you are truly seeking after following the true God, Gospel and Faith, not a god of your own imagination (idolatry), nor the false gods of other counterfeit "Faiths".
May God lead you to the truth, and away from what's false.
