Are Jewish Scriptures the same as the Koran?
Q: I was talking (i work in a school) to a staff member planning an Religious Education lesson (based on Judaism) and she told what she was covering and about religious texts. Someone else came in the room and said "what is Judaism?", and I said jokingly, that "its the first half of the Bible". A passing staff member then said that "all the religious texts are almost the exact same book anyway; the Torah, the Quran and the Christian Bible, up until Jesus".
While it was quite a light hearted conversation this got me thinking, I know that obviously the Old Testament is essentially Torah, but I feel a bit confused and slightly negative about saying the Old Testament is the same as the Quran because you hear so much negativity of things in the Quran and its violence, but I dont really know. At the same time I dont really want to start looking into and reading the Quran, because I should be spending the time with God reading the Bible. Is it accurate in any way describing the OT and the Quran as the same book? I guess as a Christian it just hit me a bit the wrong way.
I will say, I do know (or THINK I know) that Mohammad is the “main man” in the Quran, and he is human and not Son of God like Jesus, and that Mohammad was a sinner.
A: Many people in various religions try to make it seem like all religions are the same. Thus many assume these are all the same books with basically the same content, and same God, but that's Satanic lies, deception by Satan who blinds the minds of the unsaved.
The truth is all religions outside Biblical Christianity are counterfeits [run by the Satanic system]. And that's why we must read and know the Bible to refute the lies of the doctrines of demons taught by those other religions, including athiests and evolutionists. And agnostic beliefs. All beliefs outside of biblical truth, are Satanic lies.
Islam is like a Mormon cult. It was basically stealing ideas from the Bible mixed with loads of demonic lies. Their Jesus is also not the one revealed in Scripture. Their god is not the God revealed in the Bible either.

In Islam their god is a liar and allows lies; even to decieve people into Islam. Only Satan lies; they follow Satan. YHWH is perfect and Righteous and hates liars and lies, and will punish all those who die in their sins...liars included.
Once you know these truths, and Scripture itself, you'll be able to have apologetically evangelistic convos to minister truth to these people. They'll reject it anyway, unless God is drawing them to salvation. Speak the truth in love regardless, as planting seeds of truth.
