Struggling with sin & concern of salvation
Q: Is there truly anyone who is on Earth who isn’t meant to be saved, their name isn’t in the book, but they struggle their life trying to be a Christ follower and WANTING to, but you just keep messing up? Like you could try forever, but it’s just not meant to be?
An instance with my mother came up years ago and what she said it still haunts me. I looked up to her as an influence spiritually. That one time i was describing how i felt hopeless and she casually mentioned maybe my name isn’t in the book or i just wasn’t meant to be on God’s team, something like that, and it wasn’t malicious, it was a casual comment made to me and it really didn’t even seem like something she’d say either, she’s not heartless or anything.
Anyway, i’m still worried, if i just can’t stop my drinking and my other worldy habits + my relationship with God slipped, so worried i’m destined for Hell 😭😭😭.
A: Well Satan's deception is meant to dash ones faith, and to try to preventbl folk from coming to Jesus. And there are idolators who are religious, who've either made up a god & jesus and false Gospel, or those who found themselves in such false churches sects and cults... who are seeking the truth and looking for true salvation. Truth is, all who are in the Lamb's Book of Life, will be saved. If you're being drawn, and even thinking about this, its an indication to take action and come to Christ, to make sure you are saved. It's that easy. Then live in the Peace of the Lord. 😊✨️
Are you in Church? Why haven't you (in all those years) went to get counsel from the Pastor on that concern? We are to be in church as a believer. It is not optional, so find and join a Bible focused church today. Get discipled there and plugged into studies and fellowships so you can ask things like this, and mature in the Faith.
