How to know if hes the one
Q: I am dating a saved man living a Christian life. How do we discern that the man in your life was sent by God, or right for me. I always pray to God asking him to take him away if it doesn’t align with His will. But what should I be thinking about?
A: May not be sent by God but just freedom to find a godly suitor worthy to be the leader and spiritual leader over you.
[Create a list] Gleen some convo & probing ideas from this and this to have deeper convos to discuss with him, and you can go from there to see if your goals in the faith and in marriage align. And get pastoral counsel about it.
If its a "possibly" then both need to actively work on areas you need to in the Faith and mindset towards marriage. Consider what areas you can biblically compromise on and just submit to him on when married, that arent super important from an eternal and godly life persoective. If you find out he's not interested in marrying, exit the relationship as he's wasting your time.
If he passes the test to qualify to court and marry you, go through pre marriage courses together and pre marriage counseling from your pastor and also a biblical counselor, for a well rounded course, to prepare you both well for a lifetime together, united in Christ & growing in sanctification.
