Spouse comes to church but tells our kids it's all lies, help...

Q: Went to church this morning with my 5 youngins and my husband. My kids are just thrilled & they want to go back every Sunday. They actually go to a daycare center in this church and love it more than anything! So I decided it was time to try service... and what better day than Easter 🥰.

I super enjoyed the service and related several times during service. My husband's never been the church kinda guy, throughout the service kept making comments whispering about how it's all fake etc. Then, gathered the kids to head home but🙁 the entire car ride home telling me how I shouldn't believe the pastors words and he was lying and wrong.

He says I'll go with you on Sundays I do believe there's a higher power but I do not agree with what any of them are saying. This has my heart breaking to be honest because I want to change, I want to grow, I want to be more religious, and involve my kids into the church life and everything. I'm not really looking for anything just venting about my feelings. I am however, so happy we went today as I feel like it was an eye opener for me and the kids enjoyment made me SUPER happy for them 😊🥰 Happy Easter !!!

A: It is good you see the imortance of church and God... but I am not sure if you are saved from the details provided. It is important to mske sure you are right with God. Without him, Church has no purpose. See needGod.com video to make sure 😊✨️✝️

Then, figure out what things he objects to, write a list, and provide the evidence of his error by showing him truthful answers, in love. Apologetics and Evangelism are how you do that, and you can start with getting equipped, and share as you go. Apologetics is a Christian focused on knowing how to defend the faith and also fully understanding what you believe in and why. It can be helpful in being a light to your husband. BUT don't stay on the intellectulial side, it is at war with truth. Swing to the conscience by sharing the Gospel to call him to salvation.

See the faq area above to help you, and watch these videos with him.

And the below can help with getting equipped further (but don't get lost in here, for now... just focus on his objections and the Gospel, later you can go thru this above).

And regardless, train your kids up right in Christ. And go talk to them in private something like on "your dad being wrong on Christisnity, that people don't know everything, so dad's can misunderstand & make mistakes too, plus it's important that people learn the truth by investigating it. Which is what you will share with them in time."

Praise God for your husband going to church each week wuth you, criticism and all!! Keep them in prayer. And celebrate rejoicefully when each come to salvation.

Though you are unequally yoked, let the resources here bless and guide you do you can grow in holiness snd be a light in the home as a godly wife and mom, shining forth Christ.

If possible, gift him this Evidence Bible too as it can help answer many objections, questions and help lead him to Christ too.

God bless
