Hell concern over a suicide

A loved one has died by committing suicide. I have questions in general and as I grieve:

If a Christian were to commit suicide, would they be damned for hell? Despite the person they were beforehand. Despite the love. The relationship with God. The good deeds. The faith, everything.

Would it all wash down the drain the moment they commit suicide, and would they go to hell?

Also, here's resources that can help others you may know [depressed, anxiety, suicidal] to guide unbelievers to God, and help believers hold on to God during times of suffering in this fallen world.


It is good to go through those and understand the problem from Eden till now, and on suffering so you can understand this well, to do not fall into despair yourself. It further can help you when sharing about Christianity and the Gospel with those struggling in this world and with their identity too.
