How should Christians think about Harry Potter
Harry Potter?
Q: I have a question about Harry Potter. I grew up Christian and go to a non denominational church. I have read and prayed, but five years ago I stopped seeking God and started watching Harry Potter and reading all the books but my mom always told me it was bad and gave me a book which says that Harry Potter is demonic so I never watched it again and I threw away the books and stuff but that was my comfort movies and i saw a channfl has it and I felt nostalgic seeing the trailer of the first movie on it and I’ve also heard it’s not that bad so now I’m conflicted. What do yall think about it?
A: There should be nothing nostalgic about sin and Satan. We killed and got rid of those satanic things of our flrmer life, when we came to Christ, if indeed you have. And it should have no sway or temptation for you.
We are to throw away anything demonic. HP is witchcraft. We dont follow the things of this world, the satanic entertainment and lies it teaches.
Romans 12:2: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Your mom is doing what God called her to fo which is raise you up in the Lord, and as God commands, you are to obey and honor your parents. Humbly repent to God, repent to your mom, and get back on the right track with God. 😊✝️

Self Examination (Gospel)
Find solid Christian books and movies to fill your mind instead. Heres a bunch 😊
Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
