Afraid to date after hearing so many horror stories from marriages

Q: I regularly see in Christian forums online how scary it is to marry because a lot of women are being cheated on or abused and I completely agree it is wrong. For the past few months, I’ve read about women getting cheated on and it has discouraged me. I now want to avoid men because I don’t want to lose all my hope in marriage some day. But, there is someone that I believe God is showing me that he’s my future husband. I am so afraid of getting cheated on🥲. What are Christian women to do and consider?

A: Today it is harder than even in the 80s, as the country has spiraled into gross immorality. However a new report out shows Gen Z is seeking God and there's a surge [finally!] on men coming to the Faith. So the amount of truly saved men is increasing. And there's hope you can find one growing in holiness, pursuing purity, and preparing to be the leader of the home for when he marries.

These resources can help you as you follow God's command to only pursue godly men.

Be aware of and take heed to whats said here to women.

Read books like "What He Must Be to Marry My Daughter." As many girls dont have saved parents to guide them in relationships, or solid Church youth ministry to do so either.

Consider what to ask and discuss with the guy once you found potential candidate (who meets at least the basic requirements God has set for you). Communication and truthfulness are key.

If he's not made the cut, move on. God will bring a godly man into your life, who is wirthy to be your life time leader in marriage and thr spiritual leader of the home.

I hope these can help.
God bless
