How can Christians handle Hardships & Persecution without Defeat
A lot of Christians have concern over having to deal with suffering, pain, problems and especially persecution as a believer.
In Scripture Jesus tells us in Matthew 10:28:
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
We are not to fear man. The worst they could do to us, and only if God allows, is to send us into the presence of Christ. That's our end goal anyway, to evermore be with our loving God and Savior.
Jesus was able to escape certian areas and times when the Jews tried to nab and kill him, so to will God ensure our life continues here if it is His Will and has further purpose for us here. So trust our Soverign God and don't fear mankind.
Further the Apostles and righteous prophets of old as well as godly men throughout Scripture show us as examples how to live boldly in the Faith.
So whether you're going through suffering, dealing with problems, concerns, testing, a sanctifying trial or persecution, God is with you and wants you to live as a good and faithful servant to Him. Wear the armor of God, mature in the Faith and stand fast as a soldier of the Lord during spiritual battles.
