Afraid to read Revelation

Q: I am afraid to read Revelation. Can you share about it to ease me into it, and help me not avoid reading it?


A: Revelation is a good book. And there's is good reason for it being the last book of Scripture or last special revelation God has given to us. 

For Christians, Revelation is about "Joy", not an apocalyptic creepy book. It's showing us Jesus is soverign, it's all going according to plan, Jesus is on His Throne, his plan to build the church will be completed... and he will bring us redeemed out of this fallen world of sin and suffering and into eternity to evermore be with Him. 

You can do a good study through Revelation here. It is important to understand the context and what the symbology in it means, so def go thru the Revelation series. 😊
