Ministry to help those with gay thoughts?
Q: Is there a ministry to help people who have gay thoughts? I have a friend who won't be a Christian bc of this problem.
A: Wait, he won't be Christian because of sinful thoughts? Thats the nature and mindset of the unsaved, because they love their sin. We all need Jesus, so one benefit of salvation is he transforms us into a new creation, and gives us new desires, and right thinking. With the Holy Spirit and a righteous nature we can conquer any sin and live blessed by God.
If his issue is he wants "sin and God" then that won't work. God totally changes us so we have new and right desires. If he's avoiding because he loves sin, then he will never have victory over sins. Sinners can only sin and only desire sin, so ofc he won't want to be Christian, cuz he loves his sins.
His issues is a sin & identity and design issue that God will correct when he gets right with God; God will restore him to the right design and mindset, through Christ.
He doesn't need a ministry, he needs the Gospel. It has the power of God.

After he's repented & got saved, then by the indwelling Holy Spirit his mind can be renewed by Scripture, and he can understand who he is by God's design and live in it. Then, this can further help him understand all of the things related to his sexual sins and identity issues, as he submits to the Word of God and lives in Truth.
