Drama and banning in Christian online groups
Q: Got banned from a faith related group. I’m not mad about it because I was going to leave it but it genuinely upset me because the owner started drama with her friend. It was all childish stuff because of groups on Facebook and having titles like admin and such. I just wanted a safe environment to go to and didn’t have one there even as part of the team. I guess I don’t understand how someone who says they’re a Christian can cause so much drama and be so rude to myself and others. I want to let go of it; really got to know some great people and I know she can be a good person but she’s lost her ways lately and battling with mental health. I want to let go of it so bad and forgive
A: Not everyone who claims to be Christian is, just as not everyone who claims to be saved is.
Not everyone who is a believer is a mature one. New and weak believers cam be wrong both in their mindset, understanding, lack of knowledge, and their behavior.
The internet is full of fake believers and growing believers. Groups are run by fake believers, cultists, those in false Christianity, and weak people who are saved. Its not a safe space or good place for new and immature believers; such folk need to be staying close to, active in and get their questions, counsel and guidance from their local bible focused church leaders, and getting solid Bible education and guided into maturity there, within the confines of a safe, true and biblically "orthodox" safe zone.
