Q: God provides Eternal Security

Q: How do you explain the love Christ has for someone who thinks “if you disobey him then you go to hell”?

A: So it depends on who is asking.

For the unsaved every one will go to Hell if they die in their sins; 1 sin condemns. They have no way to pay for their sins, nor recieved the only way and only offer God provided (having rejected Christ), to secape having to pay. Thus they recieve the wages of their sin; death brings judgment and they recieve eternal wrath. It never ends.

For a believer, there is ETERNAL SECURITY There's no such thing as sinless perfection as a believer. Yes our love/lust for sin is dead but we are stuck in this corrupt body and we still sin. Yes Jesus paid for all the sins (past present and future) of a true convert; someone God caused to be born again (gave Spiritual life to) who has been transformed into a new creation. Yes there are false converts (see Soil parable), but among the truly saved, our sins are forgiven and we live in and pursue righteousness. We pursue Holy living and conquer sin in our lives, not abusing grace. But when we sin, we have our Mediator- our Great High Priest; Jesus, interceding for us (basically reminding the Father that He has paid our sin debt). So our responsibility is to conquer sins, and along the way keep short sin accounts, repenting, correcting, growing and becoming more Christlike, and God has promised he will perfect us in Christ by the last day. When we step into eternity we shed this sin stained corrupted body and recieve a new Eternal one. It shall always be sin free just as we will be, similarly to how it was meant to be before the Fall but better since that body will never see death again. It won't decay due to sin or wear out.

The New Testament clearly teaches this. You can study Scripture to find that teaching and the related verses. You can also ask your Sunday School teacher or pastor if you are at a biblical church who holds to the full authority of Scripture [all 66 books] as God's Word.

2 Timothy 2:13
[13] If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
[3] For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, [4] and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Hebrews 7:25
[25] Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Jude 1:24-25
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, [25] to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments. Those who are saved "love". They have God's love in them, and therefore keep His commandments; Love God, love others. They naturally live this out.

With their salvation secure, they're never in danger of Hell.

I hope that clears it up.
