Is This Spiritual Warfare?
Q: Am I going thru spirtual warefare ?
1. I made up in my mind I’m done dealing with this guy (I found out he has a gf, and my child father who is a addict wants me [but I cut him off completely]).
2. My car broke down got it fix seems to be having another issue.
3. My child got sick (seems to be recovering well but now I have a bad cold) [all happened within a week].
Is this warefare bc I decided to let go of the sinful baggage? If so pls pray for me and how should I see this ?
A: Well it might not be. Things in life happen for varied reasons, could be natural course or consequences of our sinful decisions (such as you alluded to), or just things that happen in natural course [vehicles break]. Could be God had good work for us to do in those situations, (incl sharing the Gospel), but we neglected to take those opps... and so he will use someone else. Sometimes it's God placing us somewhere for a work, and not about a "me" focused concern.
Scripture says we go through troubles that are common to man; due to the Fall. And Believers go through additional ones due to persecution, for sanctification purposes [incl discipline by God], God guiding us away from what's wrong, or spiritual Warfare... all of which is part of God using things for our sanctification, and His will/plans.
It does seem like you made several unbiblical decisions regarding men, but idk if that was before you got saved. Believers are not to run after men who don't even qualify to take you out on a single date. We need to make better choices for life blessings and we can't do that unequally yoked, living I'm rebellion, and as if we aren't born again. Many new and weak believers haven't grown or had such counsel to know, so it's good to investigate this well.
