Why am I not hearing from God?
I feel like I lack patience, I expect to hear from him after reading like 1-2 times out of the week sadly smh! 😭

God always answers believers prayers, who are in right standing with Him. Even if we have a sin or sins blocking the fellowship know that His will will be accomplished regardless of our prayers. It's just a bonus that we can pray and He can hear us.
Note also, not everyone who claims to be Christian is one. Many are false converts, idolators and deceivers; yes even in the church or in so called churches. Jesus said at the last day he will separate the weeds from the wheat. You need to know Scripture well to see the red flags of false teaching and outright doctrines of demons folk try to pass off as Christian... so you can go the right and biblically revealed way of righteousness & hold to the truths it teaches.
God gave us 66 books of the Scriptures as a special revelation and he spoke to us by Christ and the Apostles to close out this holy book. "God speaks to us through the Bible." It's why he gave it to us. Don't listen to false teachings from people giving you any other ideas outside of that truth. As far as him answering, the faq here can guide you further for better understanding. 🙂
Also, Ilif you are in a true Bible focused church, Talk to your Sunday School teacher, decons and Pastor; theyre your guides. Ask them about other faith based questions you have, and avoid thinking what you see online is reality; truth is many deceiving spirits are online (who are Satan's children) who show up masqurading as Christian. So best practice is getting your church leaders guidance on approval of channels and peoples videos you look at online. So stay within and under the shepherding of your church leaders & pastor so you arent led astray from biblically orthodox truth. This is very important.
As far as hearing from God....Make it a priority to read Scripture every morning without fail. God does so much for us that 15 minutes of devoted time alone where he can talk to us - isn't too much to ask. He speaks to us in what the Holy Spirit teaches us from what we read. It is to be every day, a basic daily life practice, we read Scripture and pray. We should purposely make time daily to read the Bible (with intention) before the day slips away on us.
