Thinking about getting baptized

Q: I'm thinking about getting baptized.


A: That's good. It's our 1st act of obedience to God, after we get saved. 

Here are a few things to understand: 

It is a public testimony that not only shows we align with Christ, but is a symbolic testimony showing we died to self in the death of Christ and rose to new life in His resurrection.

If you misunderstood baptism, and haven't got saved yet, this explains how. Once that's taken care of you can go to the pastor at a local Bible Christian church and begin the process for fruit check, baptism classes and then complete the Baptism ordinance.
