Helping Atheist bf come to salvation
Q: My atheist boyfriend has started praying! The last 6 months he’s been praying at dinner and at night with me every day, mainly for healing for my medical condition. Before we met, he’d never opened a Bible and never prayed. Now watch sermons and read verses together a few times a week, talking about God daily because it’s a real passion of mine: faith.
He even prayed, “God if you’re real show me yourself in a miracle so that I know” because this is his personal, impactful way he would come to believe in God.
So far no big “miracle” has happened and he doesn’t feel God has made Himself known through prayer or in any way. But he isn’t staunchly against God, just has no faith.
I’m so terrified of me dying one day and him never believing, and us never seeing each other again in heaven; in him going to hell.
What do I do? Just keep praying and studying together?
A: Ok. This is nice. But please help him realize there is no guarantee for healing and that shouldnt be the sole expectation or reason he is turning to God. Ensure he understands that Suffering exists because man brought sin into this world. But God is working to restore all things, patiently and over time [of humanity]. He will bring Believers into a sin free eternity.

His most important need is the Gospel. Ask him to watch this.
Then ask probing questions.
Have you ever understood the Gospel explained that way before?
Do you see why we all need Jesus as our Savior?
Do you want to settle your case with God today and be made right by Him?
If you need to nudge, remind him - tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. 160k die daily and we dont know when death will come for us.
Ask if he sees the reasonableness and importance of turning to Jesus today.
If yes, then dont let anything stop you.
