Opening to God, concerns on forgiveness, prayer and being in church

Q:  I recently begun to open my heart to the Lord and I worry sometimes that my past sin won’t be forgotten. I was brought up with family who talk down on religion and in turn I talked down quite badly on religion. I have started to pray, read the bible, and try and lead life by His teachings, but I still sometimes worry.

I also sometimes struggle on what to say when praying off the top of my head, sometimes I read a piece or a prayer but I feel like I should pray off the top of my head more; as it feels more genuine but I never know what to say, does anyone have a template or way of praying they default to?

Also I am wanting to start church but I am quite introverted so I was hoping you had any suggestions to an online service.

A:  Begun opening vs being saved are totally diff things ...and have diff outcomes if you die in 3 minutes. So get your salvation matter settled right now. See this short vid at needGod.com

Is the concern God's remembering or others? God has totally forgot it if you are born again.  Others may not forget what you have done but they CAN see your life transformed as you grow in holiness, and you can go to those you have concern over and ask forgiveness. As far as past regrets this will help ✝️

Dealing with Past Regrets #214

Here are resources on prayer. You will see this follows Jesus model.

And here are resources to find a church.

Note the info here on why going physically to church is important. Also, we cannot hide from the world and are to be with believers and around other humans. Introvertedness is sorta a sin if you are using it as an excuse not to socialize or interact with others. You need to address and overcome it. God will help you.

It is great you are reading the Bible and wanting to live rightly.

God bless ✝️
