Desiring to return to the world

Q: I’m so depressed and I keep feeling the pull back into my worldly life. I want to go back to my new age spiritualism. I felt so connected to everything. I want dress the way I want to dress, and kiss a bunch of men. I know it’s not ‘Christ like’ but I miss my old life. I was happier.

A: Why would you gamble with your eternity?
Why would you choose to die in your sins and be in Hell for eternity? Life on earth is a drop of water compared to the ocean of eternity; it's not worth it to pursue sin/pleasures for a season and be swept away forever.

Most MZ Alpha today suffer from an Identity crisis, because they dont understand who they are and their purpose in life, and because the evil spirit of the world entices them.

New agism is idolatry and it cant save you. Desiring to go back to a life of sin shows you might likely not have been saved at all, but simply shifted to a different version of idolatry.

For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Let's probe a bit to find the problem & solution.

What was the reason you came to Christ?
>was it for a better or happy life? Or
>was it for salvation, righteousness and Christ?

Far too many people have been sold a false gospel with false promises.

This will help clear up a few things. Read this free pdf book. Then go here to understand (and receive) the biblical gospel.

Once saved, you are radically transformed to a lover of righteousness and hater of sin. You desire to kill conquer and have victory over every sin, and to become more and more Christlike. Our focus isnt on happiness, but is one of joy and rests in the peace of Christ who saved us and has a purpose for our life here and a plan to bless us in eternity.

A lot of times there are new or weak believers who are not reading the Bible and so they are not renewing their minds and being washed by and growing in faith by what Scripture reveals.

Romans 12:2says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Ephesians 5:26 explains to the church about Scripture, "to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing of water with the word." Here, "washing" refers to the cleansing power of God's word, the gradual transforming of our minds which conforms us to righteousness.

Desiring sin, however, shows a lack of salvation, so get that matter settled with God today... and then you will desire righteousness and be utterly repulsed by the desires of sin [and not enticed by it as the unsaved in the world are (who live chained to their sin nature desires)].

Then read Scripture daily, without fail, to get and stay close to God. Pray daily, and be an active member of a local biblical church, join Sunday school weekly, (attending new believers class, foundations class & a righteous living class), go to bible studies fellowship group too, Worship together irl on Sunday, and be active at the church wherever you can. These things and godly believers there, will help you, to live out the Christian life well & help mature you in the Faith.
