Walked from the faith, is it impossible to be saved?

Q: Walked from the faith, is it impossible to be saved?

I'll be honest I'm 99% sure I'm like Judas. That is to say I walked with God for a while, but never truly put my faith 100% on Him, and then I fell away from Him. Now I'm trying to repent but it feels too late. I feel like my repentance is only done by my own strenght, so no matter the efforts I make to please Him, that's not enough.

Can you help me with that ? My case is a very heavy one and I don't want to be a burden. I'm pretty sure there's nothing I can do so I don't want to give anyone the burden of trying to help me.

The thing is I don't believe God loves anybody. I read a lot where people say "God loves you, He wants to help you, etc" but I don't believe that. I believe this is true only for His elect, His children, but for the unsaved He has no love or compassion whatsoever. It's not that I want to harden my heart but I believe it's just the reality, according to what I understand from the Bible.

A: Everyone is a sinner likeminded as Judas until God transforms them. What is the requirement? Obey the Gospel command; repent and believe.

Its possible you had some understanding but not a full understanding [which was a failure of the church you were raised in or the parent who brought you there], and that's why you were a false convert, but it is good you are thinking on this and struggling with it because you desire to be right with God and to know Him better. God has given you the tools to look into this more both by the Bible, and social media to help you work through this by talking with mature born again believers, to get help and guidance. it is not coincidence you are interacting with us today.

There is hope, as you still have the opportunity to be saved- since you are still alive. If you are going to be saved then you will be, so...go obey the Gospel. 🙂

Here is help to look into why you fell away. Download this free book (pdf) and read it today. Then understand the true Gospel- [& obey it/recieve it].

Heres how to deal with past regrets. Cuz Satan wants to keep you from living free in Christ. He wants you all twisted up.
>>>You can be free from that 🙂.

As for His Love:
God proved His love for humanity, (and yes specifically those who will be saved, those whose names are, from before the foundation of the World, in the Lambs book of Life), by going to extreme measures to doing what it took to buy us back/redeem us/save us from damnation- through Jesus.

That is ultimate true love in action as clear proof.

He couldve let us all die and go to Hell but instead saved some of us, by and for His own good pleasure. We dont know why those some were chosen but HE does, and thats all that matters. We are all commanded to obey the Gospel. Those who genuinely do- will be saved. God transforms them.

BUT...He does however show a loving grace to ALL mankind by 1. his patience and care- he doesn't kill & damn them all at first sin, [and does use them for His purposes here which is likely for the sanctification of the believers, to keep us close to Him & to serve Him while here (being participants in leading people to the Lord)]. 2. He also is gracious to provide rain and harvest and things all humans need to those who will die in their sins. That shows love also. Just not the Fatherly love he has towards the Redeemed ones.

None of us are good. None of us deserve salvation. This is why it is about God's Grace. It is given freely to all who obey the Gospel. So be truthful to yourself and God about your sins, be open hearted, understand the true Gospel, and obey it.

Then read the Bible daily to know it and to grow in holiness so you can live out the righteous life, stay close to God and go also and reach others with the truth. Those whom God saves will persevere to the end, and will shed this body stained by sin and gain an eternal sin free one, but also enter into that promised eternal life to evermore be with our Savior whom we love - Jesus the Christ.

OP follow up reply:
But I believe He hates me, because I did everything to be saved (Yes, I fell away and I sinned seriously. But I asked for forgiveness and I did everything that He asked to be saved). And prior to my falling away, my life changes when I came to Him. I genuinely believes that I was walking with Him, I repented of my sins, I was passionnate about doing His will, even if i was far from being perfect of course.

But it was all in my imagination and I didn't know. He didn't tell me. This has to be hate. I don't know what else to say, I don't know what else I can say to God. Yes, I'm not a good person and I deserve hell, but I did everything to be right with Him. I don't understand why He asks us to forgive our neighbour, but He's never been willing to forgive me even if I asked for forgiveness and a new heart dozens and dozens of time in my life.

Christian closing response:
You are holding to an opinion that doesnt align with the revealed truth in Scripture. God indeed loves (as noted). He does forgive. He desires to forgive. But theres a diff between moralism and salvation. A diff between being sorry vs having a broken & contrite heart over your sins. The latter leads to repentance if one obeys the Gospel. If you obeyed it then you would love God and Jesus and persevere in the faith. Even if you got off the right path and fell into sin you can simply repent of it, have your fellowship with God restored, be thankful and grateful he forgives and has, and as a loving Father he guides you back on the right path. That would include the fruit of salvation which would include righteousness flowing from the inner man, desire to read he Bible, learn what it says about God, righteousness, Christlikeness for example to follow, righteous example of believers and what it says about fighting, conquering & having victory over sin of any kind, along with how to live a righteous godly Christian life.  And includes the Fruit of The Spirit (see Galatians for list). You would be growing in those areas more and more as you mature in the faith.

God speaks to us through the Bible and not audibly or by signs. So what he has said is true is true - and we simply are to believe it. We can do so because He is trustworthy (Scripture over 4000 yrs shows this, and in lives of previous believers over last 2000 yrs and seen in believers lives today). He has never let anyone down.

However there are false churches and false teachings and false gospels in the world (Scripture warns to look out for those), so we need to read and know the Bible and the essentials so we can spot them and not be duped by them nor their associated lying spirits.

So if you did get saved and not embraced a religious moralism and idolatry (of following a valse version of God or Jesus), then simply dont listen to the lying demonic spirits around you. They have no control over any believer. When you arent tempted to distrust God and you dont play their games they will flee from you. Because you boldly confidently trust in God.

So make that your current goal.

Ignore them and trust in God alone. 😊🙂

Your just have to trust Him. So do that.

*It isnt by what you do that saves you. God saves and transforms, and He leads and guides you after that.

*He is the one who saves (& He is the one who eternally keeps you saved).

You just have to trust and obey.

Choose today to trust Him 🙂.

And go then and follow Jesus. Follow His example of a righteous life. It is that simple.
