Help studying Tabernacle and Law in Exodus

Do you have any tips for reading through the Pentateuch, specifically through the description of the tabernacle in Exodus, and the Law of Leviticus? I’m trying to grow in the knowledge of Scripture, but I’m having a hard time getting through these portions.


A: Yes, glad to help. 

The Tabernacle is a beautiful representation of who Jesus is and what HE does for us. It points to the true dwelling place of God in Heaven. 

Every item in the tabernacle was given by God to display truth. It shows what each item proclaims about the sinner’s need, God’s provision, and the ultimate fulfillment in the coming Messiah [in Greek: the "Christ"].

I do know JV McGee Thru the Bible series explains this [and other OT similar things (feasts, holidays, etc)] in regards to God and Christ symbology. He goes through each item.  Its free at blueletterbible.org* audios. I have the 5 vol commentary set but you can listen to the audio for free. 

I know there are charts you can buy at CBD tho. Physical Christian bookstores (if any exist anymore) usually have those enlarged. Stop by to look at one visually if you have a store nearby.  Rose Publishing usually has some of these too, and the staff will know where those expandable pamphlets are. 


In addition if you are wanting a deep dive on understanding God and His attributes (Character & Nature), which is related to perfection and the Law given in Exodus, this will help. 

Also a deep dive on understanding the Law in Exodus this 10C study will help.
