Why God doesnt stop bad things
Well first, He clearly does act immediately since he moved all things around for His Will and Plan to be perfectly carried out among mankind.
God allows or directs some things for good in the end. Though it doesnt seem understandable until we look into it better.
Why didnt God stop bad things.
He would kill all humans at the same time if he did, as all are sinners. You arent the only one bad things happened to at the hands of other sinners.
God didnt spare His Son Jesus, who was the only perfect and innocent human. God didnt call down fire, consume them, open the ground to instantly take them to Hell. Not even when the Jewish leaders and their sham show dragging Jesus before 6 courts nor finally in front of Caiphus at the end where Jews were demanding his murder, nor when scourged nor when on the cross.
See note at @8:32-14:29 specifically@ 9:22+
God was patient with the ones murdering Jesus. There was a purpose. How much easier will he be be patiently working in regular sinners lives and in patience with all humans who all do wrong to each other, towards God, and even to those committing secret sins?
Why isnt it immediate justice? He wouldve wiped out all humanity in the beginning then. But didnt cuz he knew theyd do this and so he put into action the plan of redemption of all mandkind which he will soverignly rule over and complete (from life to life, & generation to generation until the last human is born). He wants humans to exist and to fulfill their purpose. And so he will carry out this plan to the end.
God is a good, merciful, patient and long suffering in delaying killing us, [and then sentencing us all to Hell], to give us an opportunity to obey the Gospel; be converted and transformed into a new creation. To be given spiritual life and the righteous nature.
When we are made right with God by Jesus, then we are no longer living in the sin nature but the new righteous nature. We are thus enabled to live out the moral characteristics of God as we are growing in sanctification (becoming more like Christ, and more holy day by day) by living out our faith. The way we grow in our faith is by reading, knowing and applying Scripture, in connection to the Holy Spirit living in us, guiding us in our new nature we thus live out the righteous way.
God works all things out for good. His will is accomplished and many times it is for our good but many times it is also for others good. Scripture gives endless examples. If you look at the story of Job and his suffering. Job's faith grew, his understanding of things grew, his friends learned about God, his wife learned about God, and he was blessed later on in other ways as he lived in/persevered in living in/ righteousness.
If you look at the Apostles, God had allowed or directed various things so the Gospel was proclaimed among peoples, govt people, and rulers and Kings. And their lives and siffering and struggles have blessings for others; we still benefit from their lives even today.
If you have life altering situations such as born with deformities, lose a arm or legs, some accident alters your life, or get cancer or a disease... God can move you around to various places as opportunities to glorify Him, tell others you encounter (from a myriad of opportunities) about your faith and share the Gospel so that seeds can be planted and people can be saved. Our life is to be a fragrant boasting about God to glorify him and lead others to Jesus. No matter the situation.
Whether really bad situations in life happen, even horrendous things to women, God will use that evil done to you to first bring you closer to Him, and also to help you forgive as Christ did, and as God does. There are times where we do need to seek justice in the courts here, and if that doesnt work God will seek vengance in His eternal Court on Judgment Day [if they dont get saved].
Dont be angry or misunderstand if they get saved. They arent getting off scott free just as you arent for your sins. Jesus bore the eternal penalty for those sins on the cross if they get saved, just as He did for you. God is good and gracious, but equally just; He is completely just in damning those others who die in their sins. So we need to forgive, knowing that God forgave us much more for all of our own sins. Our sins are crimes against God that require eternal Hell as the payment. If he can forgive us of that, we too can forgive what seems like extreme evil when something is done to us.
So dont let anything that happened to you, keep you from getting saved, or keep you from moving on and trusting God. He will work it all out. Keep focusing on God, & your life in Christ (and be looking forward to that wonderful sin free place we will live in eternity with our Savior, once he calls us there.) Ok? 🤗🥰✝️🙏
These are very basic things Christians need to comprehend. Otherwise of course their faith will be dashed, since they dont actually understand God, nor trust Him.
Even when it seems hard. Just trust Him and stay close to Him. Seek comfort in Him and guidance in the Word. 💜
