No love for God, requests He reveal himself
I have begged I have pleaded for God to reveal himself. By that I mean, bring me to know him. I read scripture. I pray. I attend church but nothing.
I have no love for God. How can I love God if he wont show himself. No I am not seeking a personal one on one revelation but I am wanting at least something.
Maybe I am one of those that will never be called, I am wasting my time searching?
Why should it be this hard?
"Seek and you will find knock and the door will be opened to you" well I am seeking and I have been knocking but nothing...
I am now at the point of saying , no more God, I cannot keep going on
For the record, we are talking decades of asking.
What am I doing wrong?

The answer to your conundrum is in the Bible. Scripture is the special revealed Word of God to mankind. We have to go there to get the answers.
God speaks in Scripture to us and He moves according to His will - it is not always when or how we expect, but it is for the best.
He ONLY speaks to us in Scripture, But He reveals Himself in 4 ways.
Has he not revealed Himself to you by hearing the Gospel? Did you embrace the truth of God & Jesus revealed in Scripture?
Have you read the Bible daily for decades and have not found the answer? Have you asked your Sunday School teacher about this, your decons, your Pastor? Why has it taken you decades to get this taken care of? They are the spiritual shepherd over you. They are the brethren, family of God and spiritual guides. Something is wrong if are not getting counseling from them and guidance. They have failed you by not teaching the basics (unless you avoided church and Bible study there).
If you have no love for God then you are not saved. Those who come to Jesus love God for who He is & what he did through the cross for us... and the born again have been transformed into a new creation by Him. That transformation comes with a new nature. Righteousness/Holiness. By obeying the Gospel.
That new nature has the characteristic attributes of perfection as we once had in Eden (perfect prior to the fall) but now even more...we know additional attributes of God we would not have known of him (if there was no redemption story); we now see in Him grace, mercy, perfect love, forgiveness etc , and.... we are able to live with those characteristics in our new nature too. Made in God's image. Empowered by God in that new nature. Living righteously.
I think you may have come to Christianity through a false gospel; it offered you something you are not getting - because it wasnt the true Gospel. I also think if you understood who God really is (and also have a clear understanding of the biblical Gospel) this may lead to your true conversion. Then having obtailed the righteous nature, & understanding the Holy God ...you will have that joyful love you are lacking 😊🤗😇✝️.
The problem is not understanding who God is. Who you are as a sinful person. And what God did for you (the great lengths and at great expense too). We deserve none of it [salvation] and yet praise God through Christ dont get what we do deserve [Hell]. Grace is amazing.
Let's get you on track...
Go through this study on the Attributes of God. It explains who He is, his essence, his character and nature, and shows how He is very otherly. He is our creator and we are altogether nothung like him. We are made in His image but are very fallen and in need of the Savior so we can have spiritual life, eternal life, and know and love God.
