Is Church important?
Q: Are Christians supposed to go to church or can we just do our own thing?
A: Those wanting to do their own thing sound more like those in the world trying to run from God to avoid accountability, sin freely, and act as if theyre on the throne of their life- not Jesus.
Servants of the Lord, followers of Christ, gather with the saints in the local congregation. Scripture is really clear on this but few actually read the Bible who are ones who also claim to also be a believer.
While Every day we live in the Sabbath rest of Christ and every day is as Sunday for the believer living in the Resurrection, yes we are to gather together as often as possible... which is at minimum on Sunday the Lord's Day.
