Lessons for Teens
If your kids are 11 to 18

Resources & Prep tips:
Think through and plan out in 3 month cycles or annual "planning out of" family worship topics/lessons.

Figure out how long the lesson is and if it is in 1 lesson or broken in 5 lessons etc. due to time alotted daily.

Decide the time of study prep (for studying 1.5 - 2 hours after kids go to bed?).

What time will the family study be? After dinner, at the table, after dishes are done. Keeping in mind the early bed time of little ones.

Use studybible.org app.
Click a verse in the passage going through and it brings up a resources button. It has faq, articles, blog answers as well as sermons on the topic - where he can prep for the lesson discussion in advance.

He can create a plan and "study on" the topic of a few topics or teachings of Scripture about Christian living, or worthy stories in the Bible to teach from - in advance - so when he starts he is not overwhelmed and has a time crunch, or has sime emergency that prevents his studying. Add a few short studies to the bucket also for when somethings going on and family has to go somewhere.

Sunday is a break for corporate worship with the congregation. But still has conversations on what was learned and that Bible story in car ride home. Kids can ask Bible/faith questions there too.
