Keep falling into Sexual Sins.
A: It is important to understand the difference between appearing moral [or just doing things to be moral], and actually having change happen to the inner man [because of the new nature]. If we recognize that, and desire to live righteously then we can conquer any sin, permanently. It wont tempt or have any power over us once we do.
I was able to get back on the righteous path a few yrs ago, but I walked off that path and need help to conquer this sin.
That is important as a believer, conquer each one and we become more and more like Christ. Thank God for the new righteous nature and the indwelling Holy Spirit who helps us to do so. 🙂
To help you be victorious... I encourage you to gain a much deeper and clearer understanding of God's holiness (and about sin), so you can live and grow in righteousness and maturity in the faith.
The easiest way to defeat sin is to find ultimate satisfaction and joy in God.
Psalm 16:11 "You will make known to me the path of life. In Your presence is FULLNESS of joy; At your right hand are PLEASURES FOREVERMORE."
HE is your escape and way out of temptation. When you are tempted, RUN to the Father.
1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it."
If your phone is what you use to sin, either remove that app, get a dumb phone, or put phone down and pick up your Bible. Be in the Word daily without fail. Also, block the guy who is not guarding your heart and is sinning with you. Do not message or meet up with him and do not open your door to him if you know him and he shows up at your home.
Matthew 5:29-30, "If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell."
Proverbs 4:23, "Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life."
