What can you tell me about CSB Bible version?

CSB is okay, it’s less word for word translation than ESV, but then again more word for word translation than NIV, but it’s original meaning and words are kept as far as possible but still making it readable.

CSB gets John 3:16 correct:
"For in this way, the Lord loved the world....."

Bible versions were made based on literacy level and this one is fine for kids.

It is a good version for young people, but teens should move to ESV or NASB95/LSB21

On the CSB

CSB editors are not anti-complementarian

Looking at the translation oversight team, I know that several of them are very strongly complementarian. I’ve seen articles from egalitarians attacking the CSB as they claim it is a complementarian translation. The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood also has articles defending the CSB, which would be odd if the editors were anti-complementarian.

Check the notes on the CSB Study Bible; they are far from egalitarian.
