How to Know you are Saved
Q: How do you know if you’re saved? I've recieved Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I've repented for my sins, i just don’t know if there’s other things i need to do.
A: Salvation is of God. God draws people to himself; people hear the gospel and are enabled to respond to it. So technically humans dont "do" anything. But we do obey the gospel command to repent and trust in Jesus (Mark 1:15). After that there is nothing else.... Ephesians tells us: God was clear It is by his grace you have been saved. It is not of works but only a gift of God so no one can boast. And John 3:16 tells us the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
When we got saved the Holy Spirit at convrrsion came to indwell you eternally and has sealed you to God. You were already in the Lamb's Book of Life written in it from before the foundations of the esrth, Scripture tells us.
Once we are saved our first act of obedience towards God is to be baptized. Then we go to church abd read the Bible to rightly follow God [out of love].
If you came to Jesus for the right reason and obeyed the Gospel then you are saved.
* it does require recieving the biblical gospel.
*It does include/require having a correct understanding of who God is and who Jesus is [from Scripture]. If you did then you can have assurance as you persevere in the faith.

If you believe that [about God] and did that [got saved] then you should be seeing change in your life showing proof or fruit of your conversion. When God causes you to be born again (from above) you have a radical transfirmation into a new creation. You naturally now: hate sin and love righteousness, love Jesus, you follow Him and your obey the Scriptures. You grow in faith and maturity in your faith. And persevere in it during trials, problems and issues that happen in this sin stained fallen world; you are focused on eternity and not this temporary life here.
