Neglecting Bible Time & Church w kids
Q: Anyone else go in and out of phases being on fire for God? I was on fire for months, reading my bible every day and studying and learning, going to church and all and slowly stopped. I wouldnt feel complete going a day without spending my time with Jesus and reading my bible and now i havent picked up my bible in probably two weeks. I always feel guilty when this happens how can i discipline myself more, especially when juggling life, home, and three kids. 😭

Theres a famous Quote:
Sin will keep you from reading this book and this book will keep you from sin.
Sin. That is usually always the culprit.
My recommendation is to set an alarm on your phone for 15 to 30 min of daily reading time in AM when you wake up. Get up before the kids, and have your husband handle them if they get up before you are done. Then watch them while he has reading time. Before yalls day starts.
💥It might mean going to bed hr b4.
💥Setting reminder daily alarms
And dont make breakfast till you are done with your reading. Then you can both eat when he is done reading. Or him first w kids, then you.
If you shower first then read and have tea or coffee doing it, fine. [Before kids are up]. But build that into your daily schedule.
📖 Print book open on table in quiet time with God. & close in prayer.
As for church, that is something even the early believers had to sacrifice to do. They had to work a hard full day and then the evening was for worship. Today we have Weekends off. It sounds like you made it work before so, plan things night before [or Friday if u r busy Sat.], so Sun morn you can get to church & on time.
Church is a vital part of a believers life now and eternally. Kids will only be super young for a short time so just do your best in that season. If need be, take 2 vehicles and send him ahead with the kids, and you about 10 min behind. But be on time 🙂
