Don't speak badly about others

"Speaking badly about others", (incl those God has [for a time and reason] put into authority and places of leadership in our country). Those speaking badly about others are mocking God. Do not commit that sin. 

The person (being attacked) has the image bearing properties of God in him, and that is why everyone is due dignity & respect. Not because who they are, what they do, how they live or how they vote, but because of who they were made by. They were made in God's image. 

We are called to be peacemakers, and be patient, caring, forgiving, gracious, humble and loving towards all people, especially those who are our enemies (as Christ did).

It doesnt mean we condone sin or agree with their beliefs. When appropriate we can speak truth in love, reply godly, but strive to always be mindful to respond & behave in a way that shines forth godliness. 
Then leave it with God. 

Keep your hope in Christ and live in righteousness. Proclaim the Gospel and focused on growth in your Christian walk.
