Men struggling with trustworthy relationships and a nation of declining morals
Q: So many men today are single with no interest in dating or friendships. Everyones fake and guys are realizing it isnt worth it anymore.
No one has your back, no one can be trusted, people use you, backstabbing etc. American isnt how it used to be. There's lack of morals, virtue and character.
I've firsthand experienced this and in talking with other men who shared stories that have led them to the same conclusion. They retreat from (those in) the world. [*via video topic].
A: I hear you. I know those whom this is meant to reach will recieve it... I hope you hear me out. Hope isnt lost.
It is true that it has always been the way of this world, not so much USA (until recent times) and that's why youre lamenting and disappointed in our society, those given platforms, in leadership and govt positions that push us on a downward trajectory. Somewhere in there was the spark of feminism (we are in the 5th wave if it now), which lead to promiscuity in 60s, and at some point govt programs [began towards] designed for single women (who had not been married) encouraged having kids & to live off the system. It was a trap. Particularly in black communities and poor white ones, where marriage and fatherhood eventually were no longer the norm. Without strong and caring fathers/husband as leader of the home [persevering thru adversity and even marriage issues], caused the family unit to break down, and on top of that by late 90s it was young adults (and ever since) having a self focus. Perverted Hefner, Rap music, [worship of money, and imagery if floozy women] pushed in videos) and glorified in all areas of entertainment], caused problems with morals, values, virtue, character and etc [not teaching self control & delayed gratification- in myriad of ways], those single mothers were unable to guide sons into manhood, led to further deterioration. And they became perpetuators of those immiral lifestyles and victims. With all that plus importing drug dealing and using, sex trafficking and more became a further problem in US, destroying the society within, breaking down our nation further. All for mans' love of money and lack of self control and not pursuing good morals. Then you've got a political party [dancing along side all this like Satan the pied piper] that has nothing else to offer the country, but entices voters into degredation, despicable behaviors, encouraging sinful lives, dangling freebies at others expense, laziness & entitlement attitudes (which exploded exponentially, unimaginably) exasperated by the influx of illegals from 190 countries since 90s, ramped up on last 2 Dem administrations [open borders, unvetted 40 million, with their kids, and kids they've had here since], where majority refuse to assimilate (since 2008?), causing increasingly more chaos in our nation, cities and towns [while those who caused it, dont live in this a spiritual and physical war zone, but live untouched by privilege in their wealth]. Decent Citizens are helpless and powerless as those in power ignore ballot additions or override them after voted on, or legislate laws that cant be changed (and wont be in Dem areas where they've had control [through ballotfraud or whatever to retain power 20+ yrs]). Media tows the liberal line, their propaganda and agendas are pushed (increasilingly more evil over last 30 yrs) not just in schools and college anymore , but openly in corporations [with intentions to keep MZ brainwashed & force people to comply to their woke agendas ([even w lgbt pronoun nonsense] or like covid vax forcation or fired threats), to further destroy our nation, society, culture, values etc. So, people with integrity are rare to find.
It is all part of the satanic system, his goal and nature is to steal, kill and destroy. He hates humans (and esp God followers) so theres unrelenting attacks from that.
I do feel men shouldve stepped up and fought back when feminism began, since that has been the key push behind all this mess in US all these decades since, and snowballed into the lunacy we have today. Men allowed women to usurp their God given position as a human, father, husband, leader.... and what we have today is the result. Today's men (who raise alarms or frustration) are ill-equipped to tackle it, having no mentors or guides to the blueprint, and are lower in numbers.
With that said, as to friendships, mentoring, expectations will be shattered, as we are not only in a broken, decating (and nation dealing with the above onslaught) situation, but we need to keep a few things in mind. As noted the world outside the US is way worse, not just cuz NWO global elitists working bts to destroy every western country, but at the root is the truth of why it has and will continue to be this way; sin. Man's sin nature since the Fall. It destroyed perfection, brought in corruption, death, suffering, illnesses and disease, hatred, jealousy, covetiousness, envy, and every sin imaginable, incl those that affect other people (not just slightly, but many in serious ways; very wicked evil depraved ways). Satan uses these to try to bring about his goals, but he is limited, like a dog on a leash, because God is in control, and is working all things out. All that man screwed up and continues to (daily by 8 billion people), will eventually serve its purpose and the end will come, ushering in a perfect sin free new Earth & Heaven where what happened here will never again. But only those born again in Christ Jesus will get that blessed eternity. The rest will pay for their sins, punished eternally without rest or hope. God didnt have to offer nor make a way for any human to recieve such grace, when we all only deserve Hell for our crimes against Him.
The other point I want to make, is that because of all those things noted, you can only ever rely on & trust YHWH, not humans. Not only those whom you thought you could, but even (in news the other day and regularly we see) many parents not having the proper view/behavior/responses/mindset towards their children (age 10, 12, 18, 25, 30 whatever) who commit evil [rape, murder, etc] trying to justify or get their kid off for evil they've done, standing with instead of condemning their kid and the heinous crimes they committed. Today evil is being called good and good is being called evil just as Scripture said would happen in these end times.
Again, you have fallen people, sinful people pursuing their own sin desires, in myriad of ways (some you noted). It disappoints us, it frustrates us who desire something better, something more like it used to be (in USA) when life was more morally aligned to our Christian heritage, and the benefits & blessings this nation once had because of it. And more like it could snd should be. But is being destroyed by those invaders who dont assimilate and just take (greed, envy, coveting, thieves, rapists, murderers, evil perpetrators, living out the twisted morals and gross corruption of the societies they came from). Like bullets or trogan horses let in by the enemy within.
But there is something we can all do, if we get right with God, by having Jesus as our Savior, we become a new person, transformed by Him, a new inner man, receiving (a restoration of) what was lost in Eden, our design to be as an image bearer of God who created us, thus by Christ's righteous nature, have now the communicable attributes of God [refered to as the Fruit of the Spirit], to live in holiness, powered by the indwelling Holy Spirit, by sanctification, maturing into the person God wants us to be, an identifyer of our own sins who actively pursued, kills, conquers and has victory over each one we find.
With this new life, we now desire not only to know God better, be closer to Him, and continually more like Christ, but we as His Bride, called the Church, have our local congregation, our community, where our life is now centered. There, among those who show up, are the redeemed holy ones. The true believers and followers, with their shepherd leaders, guide us into holy living, disciple us, and are the closest folk we can trust on earth; not perfect like God. Flawed but pursuing towards what God desires, failing, stumbling, persevering while growing. It is the most beautiful place on earth and the closest to Heaven we can get for now.
Yes, you cannot trust anyone unsaved, as the self centered people in the world will only be pursuing their selfish sinful goals. Yes, believers (the true ones, not the fakers among us) will make mistakes, but they seek to repent, reconcile and be restored. They seek your best, and in unity in Christ together focus on achieving God's will in our lives & in the work He has for us to do.
You will only have associates in life, being careful matters; as bad company corrupts good morals. Some dont expose themselves for who they really are until much later, decades even. But eventually will get exposed, the bad tree can only produce bad fruit. But you can among the believers at your local Bible focused church, find solid brethren of whom you will be with in eternity. Men's groups there are the right place to build solid relationships over time, that last evermore. People who have your best (and God's) interest in mind. God will lead you to them, [even if some only bless or influence you for a time and are whist away by God for other work He has for them, as he will do with you]. And many men today (unlike last few decades) are coming to God and to church now. Which is good.
So called friends in the world, from school, college, work, social clubs, business clubs, or wherever, (esp if unsaved) are nothing more than acquaintances who flow in and out your life. Shouldn't be clung to, for God is likely removing them out of your life. But doing good towards others has its rewards, not just here but in eternity. For believers. We are told to love our enemies and do good to them. It might lead them to God or just accomplish its temp purpose here. Never feel bad for doing good, nor feeling you shouldnt help anyone else. It is also good your gf alerted you to the problem that arose. Dude was exposed early on, allowing you to cut him out of your life. If Christian, you would simply minister to him and the Gospel, in hopes God also transforms him. One by one salvation after salvation impacts/moves us, our family, community, city, state and nation towards what is right (& aligns to God's will).
Whether this life marches forward, whether we experience problems, suffering, whatever... God uses this both to lead us to maturity in the Faith & closer to Him, but also as testimony to others; both them seeing it and you testifying if it, esp as you minister to those going through such or similar to you. Further pointing man to Him.
The good news is this isnt forever. Yes, for this lifetime, but not evermore. The new and perfect is coming, will be restored, and sealed to that for eternity.
Dont give up, dont stop doing good, do all the good you can, where you can, how you can, when you can, but in balance with God at the center - and not neglecting your spouse/family as theyre your 1st ministry and mission befire others. Raise your sons up rightly and in the Lord, and your daughters too. Guide and lead your wife in love and holiness, as Christ does the Church, His Bride. Then recieve your rewards in eternity, though some blessings will fall on you here too (as you put God and His kingdom as priority).
This will help you, if you dont know what God requires of you to be made right with Him, to be born again.
From there, be the change, it start with you. Let God use you for good here, and in every area of your life, and wherever he places and moves you, be faithful to Him. Be a man of integrity, godly morals and focused on pursuing righteousness.
