Lukewarm & dealing w addiction and anger, & church importance

Q: I need help…for years I’ve been a “lukewarm” christian. I believe in God, read the Bible often, attend church, but...I struggle with addiction and anger. Somedays it feels as if it just follows me, like it’s attached to me? I always get this feeling as someones behind me.

A: Our own temptation leads us astray whether Satan is proding it on or not. It's why we need to actively conquer temptations & sin, As we daily carry our cross wearing the armor of God.

Regarding addictions and anger these can help. *see also discontentment and depression as there's useful resources there related.

And for growing closer to God and living in righteousness this can help

For those in similar situation but stopped going to Church...the local Church is absolutely an essential place we need to be active at, member of, and center our life in the community there... as a believer.  It is vital.
