I have Cancer, what now?

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis but also excited to see how God uses you and grows you during this time. Remember Jesus is always with us, and will lead us through it to the end of it. Cling close to Him.

I also have cancer 🫂. A rare incurable blood cancer with lots of uncertainty, possibility for mutation, lots of pain and problems from it and much more. It is unfortunate but like everyone else, we livevin a Fallen world and tomorrow isn't guaranteed for anyone. Yes it would be hard to go through what's left of life, and whatever quality of life is going to be there, in such pain situations and medical stuff to deal with.

But God never makes mistakes in His plan for our lives. He is using you, believer, 1. To grow your faith and sanctification right now.
Here are some ways to do that via resources.

And 2. To use you to reach people for Christ, to shine Christ towards everyone you meet from the hospital folk to the hospital visitors, to family, friends and strangers during this time. Be sensitive to every opportunity, and let the Holy Spirit guide you. What you say and share in faith will not return void. Seeds are planted, truth watered, and hopefully many will come to Christ✝️ because you were a good and faithful servant of God. ❤️✨️

He will give you the grace needed to go through this. Stay close to Him daily in prayer and in reading the Bible. Do not go a day without doing this. Even during treatments, listen to audio Bible and hymns.

As far as good resources & books, the below can help you and bless.

Suggested Helps your Family and Church can be to you during this time. Share this link with them so they can pray and come up with plans to implement to bless and help you through this. (*also the last link below has & goes into more ideas.)

May God comfort and bless you.
I pray he heals you. But if not, cling to him and forwardlook awaiting to see your Savior, and enter the glorious sin free eternity. ❤️✝️👑😊

For the Dying and Grieving:
Resources to minister to cancer patients for the dying, or death and grief seasons...

*The book Help Someone I know has Cancer, includes a loving call to turn to Christ, general info on cancer, and includes helps on hospice, as well as back of book offers suggested books and websites for more on cancer. This book would be good to share with family.

The Big C is a book by a Christian (who has since gone to Heaven) that shares his journey through hopeful times, shares and weaves in the gospel with the hope the reader will turn to Christ, and "encouragement for living" even if the prognosis changes over time. *This book would be good also to share with family.  I highlighted about 80% of the book when sharing it. It has useful parts.

I believe both books are good for reading if diagnosed (either with good or bad outcomes).

Share the Gospel every opportunity you have with the patient if unsaved, or if saved, with the family, friends, others, as well as anyone you encounter at the hospital (visitors, patients & staff), for God may have you there to reach them.

Get equipped to share the Gospel well here
You can find tracts here to assist as well. *Theyre great to hand out in every convo.

Return to Grief home page if you need further resources, counsel and comfort, or to help family if you're progressing that direction.

*And it includes ideas for more tips and helps ministering to her while going through treatment.
