“How do I start a conversation about Christ with someone I SHOULD have already shared the Gospel?”

Many of us do share the Gospel and have cold entry icebreakers for strangers and some "ins" for family but add these add to your list.

A lot of people even in the church arent saved and so asking/probing about them sharing to you their salvation testimony is good. So you can also share yours with them and other folk who we should be representing Christ to too, as another idea. And then go into why Christianity. It can open convos. And get you to directly present the Gospel.

Among all the ideas here and elsewhere add the simplest thing to mention: that you were in church on Sunday and you heard a really useful thing. Then recount something the preacher said or something from a song. It doesn't require a response, but it unlocks the door. It's just sharing something from your life. And then move to the Gospel.

“How do I start a conversation about Christ with someone I SHOULD have already shared the Gospel?”

Truth is, many of us have people in our lives that, because of neglect and the passage of too much time, broaching the topic of faith in Christ would be really awkward.

These ideas are really good for this situation as well.

Another is : Which of the 10 Commandments is the hardest to keep?

Along with our witnessing...we need to always be growing in our faith to ensure that our actions and who we are speak to them as well as our words. As the whole package.

If our faith is visible through our lives we should then be unashamedly also sharing the hope that is within us, to those around us.

"Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and exiles to abstain from sinful desires that wage war against the soul. Conduct yourselves honourably among the Gentiles, so that when they slander you as evildoers, they will observe your good works and will glorify God on the day he visits." (1 Peter 2:11-12)

"Who then will harm you if you are devoted to what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear them or be intimidated, but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defence to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.!" (1 Peter 3:13-15)

We are to know the Word, live it out, and go proclaim it. It is no coincidence God has put us around those people both the family & friends, but also neighbors, associates and strangers in our path. We need to actively be personally on mission for the Great Commission.

Hope this helps you as you "go into all the world and preach the Gospel" of Christ.
