Seeking Christian friends

Christian friends

Q: I belong to a church but feel theres a lack of godly people there, to hang out with. And there are no saved folk at my job or in my family.

I want to be surrounded by Christ like friends, but don't know where to find Christ minded ones. Guidance?


A: It is good that you realize our friendships also are to be equally yoked. I am sorry to hear you are feeling alone. 

Church is the place we are to find these godly relationships. They are long term and actively a personal part in our lives. The brethren and pastor also guide us, help correct us, love us and help us grow. We serve God and others there. We learn there, & grow in biblical knowledge. We worship God there, and glorify him there. It is our eternal family (locally), and is where our life is to be centered. 

If you arent at one like that... its time to move on.

Generally why the places online (like forums, groups and social media) are not the place to find Christian friends, and def not a reputable place for Christian looking for helps.
