Save for your child's college and future by investing in stock market every month while they grow up. By 18 or 20 there can be over $100k fir it. Put it in a Trust and requires permission to get $ and only for school related needs.

Find a Free community college. Today many offer a BA degree.

Teen...Live at home.
Take a year or two off and work and save money. Pick a field you want to work in and start there. Use that $ to pay your BA school tuition in full.

Job Shadowing
Do shadowing different Professions and trying some classes for a few of them. Maybe have him interview a doctor, lawyer, scientist and whatever else and discuss these things.

Job shadowing is great, also mentorship in some of these areas is good. Find a youth coach for finding dream majors, college counseling and also acting as a sounding board on these topics. They work with the families and teens to develop a dream path and give them the confidence to step outside their comfort zone.

There are also options of creating your own major and thinking more outside the box to combine issues for polymaths and gifted types. You can plan for your future.
