Death - anxiety over it

I have a general anxiety disorder Spiritually, I am not afraid of death cuz I know I will be in Heaven. But I have to admit for years I have an extreme fear in dying. The pain, fear of the unknown and I am struggling to overcome it. Any advice?

The resources here could help. Thetes a section on anxiety and some books also listed there too.

Im dying of a rare incurable cancer and I was shocked at the news, because I am healthy and came out of nowhere. I had a time of trouble upon first hearing it. But know that we are in a sin stained world. We all die, many don't live to old age. We can just do our best to walk with the Lord well daily and if like Enoch he takes us tomorrow, or we die suddenly or with warning, death will still happen. Either way we still step through deaths doorway. Believers just step into eternal life.

Paul quotes the Hebrew prophet Hosea: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death where is your sting?”

But if we trust God and believe his promises then we live in peace and without fear knowing we await what Scripture tells us of New Heaven and the New Earth 😊, where sin never enters and we never die again.
